T Levels are a new type of technical qualification, designed for after your GCSEs. They’ve been developed alongside employers to make sure that what you learn meets the needs of industry and prepares you for work. They are different to an apprenticeship which is 80% on the job training with 20% classroom study and are paid. T Levels are 80% classroom study and 20% on an industry placement.
The Key points:
T Levels started at local colleges in September 2021 – more will be gradually introduced annually thereafter.
