When we return to school it will be week: A
Our expectation is for all students to have impeccable behaviour at all times, this will have a positive impact on their learning and progress. Our behaviour system aligns with our school values of Responsible, Respectful and Resilience.
Students are able to gain achievement credits by showing any of the below. These will be recorded by staff. They are then collated by tutors and the Head of Year leading to additional rewards.
| Responsible | Respectful | Resilient |
| Do the right thing | Be kind and polite | Never give up |
| • We are on time to school and lessons • We are fully equipped for every lesson; our equipment is out on our desks • We remain in our seats unless given permission to do otherwise • We always try our best and never disrupt the learning of others • We work in silence during a Silent Solo • We take on responsibility through opportunities outside the classroom | • All mobile devices are switched off and, along with headphones, are in our bags, out of sight • We listen to and follow all instructions given by staff • We listen to others who are talking and do not talk over anybody • We do not shout out during a lesson • We respect others, their opinions and their efforts • We respect our school environment | • We complete all work to the best of our ability • We do not give up when something is difficult; instead we look for other ways to overcome challenges • We ask for help or clarification when needed |
Students are expected to follow the core classroom routines and activities as outlined under the headings of Responsible, Respectful and Resilient (RRR). If students fail to follow the ‘RRR’ expectations:
