Introduction

The role of our careers programme in school is to equip students with the skills and knowledge that they need to make informed decisions at key points in their school lives and ultimately to prepare them for the world of work and fulfilling careers. Our aim is to enable all students to achieve their full potential in line with our school mission and strategic objectives outlined in our careers strategy and policy document. At school we are making good progress at fully meeting the eight Gatsby benchmarks outlined in the governments Careers strategy 2017 alongside ensuring that our career outcomes are in line with the new Career Development Framework published by the Career Development Institute (CDI) in April 2021.
